Long before they became friends and fellow scientists on The Big Bang Theory, Mayim Bialik and Johnny Galecki shared a memorable television moment that neither of them would forget.
In fact, the two actors shared their very first on-screen kiss as teenagers—nearly two decades before they reunited on one of television's biggest sitcoms.
A Childhood TV Memory
Back in the early 1990s, Johnny Galecki appeared as a guest star on NBC's hit sitcom Blossom, where Mayim Bialik played the title character.
In the episode "Sex, Lies and Teenagers," the young actors, both just 14 years old, filmed what became the first stage kiss of their careers.
Years later, Bialik jokingly admitted that it may even have been her first real-life kiss, making the memory even more special.
Conan Revived the Moment
The story resurfaced during a hilarious group appearance by The Big Bang Theory cast on Conan in 2016.
Host Conan O'Brien surprised everyone by displaying a throwback photo from the Blossom episode, immediately sending the cast into laughter.
Andy Richter joked about the actors' 1990s fashion choices, while Kunal Nayyar encouraged the pair to "Do it again!"
Jim Parsons added to the comedy by asking, "What kind of show is this?"
Recreating History
Although both actors initially resisted the idea, the audience's cheers eventually convinced Mayim Bialik and Johnny Galecki to recreate their famous teenage kiss on stage.
The playful moment delighted fans who had followed both stars from their early careers to The Big Bang Theory.
Not wanting to miss the fun, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco jokingly attempted their own comedic on-stage kiss, making the interview one of the most memorable cast appearances of the series.
